About the position
Job Title: Chiropractor – Part-Time (Self-Employed) – Ely
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Start Date: flexible
Contract Type: 6-month self-employed contract (with potential to extend and grow into full-time)
We are a growing chiropractic clinic in Ely looking for a motivated chiropractor to join us on a self-employed basis. This role starts part-time with the genuine opportunity to build towards full-time as the clinic continues to grow. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal issues, primarily focusing on spinal health and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to provide personalised care in a supportive environment, promoting health and recovery through evidence-based chiropractic techniques.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and develop customised treatment plans
Perform chiropractic adjustments and manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility
Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
Stay informed about the latest developments in chiropractic care through continuous professional development
Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including hygiene standards and infection control measures

What we’re looking for:
Recognised qualification in chiropractic from an accredited institution
Chiropractor registered with GCC or relevant regulatory body in the UK
Insurance BCA/UCA
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient groups
Eager to learn, progress, and develop clinical and communication skills
Prior experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
Comfortable working in a growing, evolving clinic environment
Contract & Pay:
Self-employed basis
6-month initial contract
Percentage-based remuneration (to be discussed at interview)
